Hi, I’m Galina.
Author, creator, and believer in the beauty of second chances.
I grew up in Sofia, Bulgaria, where Judo became my first language of courage. Years later, life carried me across the world—from Puerto Rico to Miami to Los Angeles—where I built a career in modeling, acting, and storytelling. But it wasn’t until I faced breast cancer that I truly discovered my purpose.
Today, I write books, create children’s stories, and build projects that help others heal, grow, and feel seen. My memoir The Wrong Side of Freedom and my Blossoming Beyond Foundation were born from my own journey of resilience and renewal. And my children’s books and series, Gigi Judo, are inspired by the little girl I once was—curious, determined, and dreaming beyond her circumstances.
My mission now is simple:
To turn my story into a light that guides others through their own.
To remind you that healing is possible.
And to show that we can always blossom—no matter where we begin.
Welcome to my world. I’m so grateful you’re here
